9.5 on the D’oh scope

I was rather chuffed about getting all of my documents ready in time – carnet, letter from Indo Consulate, various shipping documents.

But things went downhill badly when they still had not arrived at the shipping agent’s office after 8 days.

The Australia Post “Express International Letter” service quotes 3-7 days.

So I followed up on the tracking number. Well … they do not track it once it leaves the initial despatch in Australia. So what actually is the point of it?

Now 2 weeks later and they have not turned up. Had to get replacements for everything, at a cost of well over $500.
